a joint commission (alongside the artist ellie harrison) to produce artworks to mark the closure of the angel row gallery, nottingham, and for the work to be exhibited within a big closing-party environment.

with a closing party in mind (as well funeral buffets) three mountains of individually decorated cakes were made, representing every artist to have shown at the gallery. these were piled on top of three fruitcakes in the likenesses of each of it’s three directors.
